Abstract
In a conversational perspective, the article aims to show some possible relations between conflict and misunderstanding in conversation. Particular attention is given to misunderstanding as a possible mean for ending conflict and, on the opposite, to conflict as a possible mean for neutralizing the repair move of misunderstanding.
