CALL FOR PAPERS:
This is the first Call for Papers for the fifth ICOP-L2 Conference, which will be held at Newcastle University 24-26 August 2026.
Abstract submissions will be open between 21 November 2025 and 20 February 2026.
Keynote Speakers and Titles:
Silvia Kunitz (Linköping University) - Task-based interactions: A research-informed and practice-oriented exploration
Paul Seedhouse (Newcastle University) - The Architecture of Human Spoken Interaction
Daniel Lam (University of Glasgow) - Conversation analysis and language assessment: Celebrating the road less travelled and exploring new avenues
Pre-Conference Workshops:
Workshop 1: Hands-on workshop on visualization of video data for different audiences (Nathalie Schümchen-Schram, Language Expert, Master English)
