Abstract
The question transcribed below occurred in an interview with an artist in New York. It will be used to explore in-depth interviewing as a science of subjective experience. By science I mean a systematic method of constructing knowledge and reporting the phenomena studied. By subjective experience I mean a subject's lived experience.
