How does applied linguistics respond to this “revolution”? What role can it play to better understand the social and educational dimensions of this digital transformation? What new areas of study will emerge? And what new research methods will develop? This conference will explore the challenges and opportunities of digitalization for linguistics along three themes: new technologies and communication; learning, teaching, and digital tools; the methodological and analytical possibilities of digitalization.
