]> 2026-06-23T19:31:00-06:00 EMCATeaching 0 en Uncategorized -0.11959,-85.03664 Survey study on "Teaching EMCA: Practices, challenges, and reflections in a diverse community" Teaching EMCA The project is titled “Teaching EMCA: Practices, challenges, and reflections in a diverse community.” It explores how Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis (EMCA) is taught across different academic and institutional contexts worldwide. This study builds on earlier ethnographic exploration of the EMCA community (Icbay, 2026, published in Symbolic Interaction and avaliable here https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.1002/symb.70010) and aims to document and reflect on teaching practices, challenges, and rewards across the community.
