|Announcement text=We are calling for papers for a special collection on "Mental Health, Discourse, and Stigma" in BMC Psychology.

The special collection will bring together sociolinguistic research on mental health as well as mental health stigma. The central objective of the collection is to focus on how mental health and associated stigma is constructed and communicated in different contexts. Submissions should utilize established sociolinguistic methods such as conversation analysis, ethnomethodology, discourse analysis, and corpus linguistics (amongst others). We especially welcome submissions focusing on non-English data and from scholars in the Global South.
