Theme: &amp;quot;New Horizons&amp;quot; calls for the exploration of the transformative possibilities of EMCA across 4 key areas; approaches, languages, contexts and technologies. While the key areas are open to interpretation, we hope to see an exploration of; (i) human-machine interaction, (ii) critical EMCA approaches, as well as previously unexamined or underexamined (iii) interactional contexts (iv) and languages. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Keynotes: Prof. Ana Christina Osterman from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, Dr Jacki O'Neill from Microsoft Research Africa in Kenya, Prof. Robin J. Smith from Cardiff University in the UK and Assoc. Prof. Kevin Whitehead of UCSB in the USA. &lt;br /&gt;

Events: inclusive of pre-conference workshops on 5 July and more events to be announced&lt;br /&gt;
